Thurs Evening ~ 8pm to 10pm? - Informal Pre-Retreat Get Together at Kokomo's Lounge in The Mirage, an easy walk across "The Strip" from Imperial Palace.
Fri Afternoon - 1pm to 4pm - Retreat Sign-In in the Plaza Room on the 5th floor (near dining areas) at Imperial Palace. Pick up Retreat handout materials, name badge, certificate of attendance, Improv & Monorail tickets (if applicable), & details on the Retreat.
Fri Afternoon - 2:30pm to 4pm - Clark County Public Defender's Office Field Trip sponsored by New Dawn Technologies, Inc. and JustWare | Defender.
Fri Evening - 4pm to 7pm - Retreat Welcome Party in the Grand Salon inside the Auto Museum on the 5th level of the parking garage at Imperial Palace.
Fri Night - 10pm to ? - The Improv Comedy Show at Harrah's, next door to Imperial Palace. Discount tickets with your Retreat Registration $28 per person (includes tax and fees).
Sat Morning / Afternoon - 8:30am to 4:50pm - MCLE/CLE* Speakers in the Royal Hall on the 3rd floor of Imperial Palace.
8:30am to 8:45am - Dave Rendahl, Deputy Public Defender / Retreat Organizer, Visalia, California - Retreat Sign-In, welcome, announcements, coffee, donuts, & pick up materials.
8:45am to 11:25am - Terry MacCarthy "Cross-Examination" (2.5 hrs MCLE)
10:30am to 10:40am - Morning Break
11:25am to 12:25pm - James J. Tomkovicz "US Supreme Court Decisions" (1 hr MCLE)
12:25pm to 1:30pm - Lunch Break (on your own). 5 lunch restaurants at Imperial Palace.
1:30pm to 2:30pm - William K. Johnston, "Forensic Testing" (1 hr MCLE)
2:30pm to 3:30pm - Christine A. Koehler “Disgracing Our Profession” (1 hr ethics MCLE)
3:30pm to 3:40pm - Afternoon Break
3:40pm to 5:40pm - William L. Logan "Defending Medical Marijuana Cases” (1 hr MCLE)
Sat Night - 10pm to ? - Studio 54 Nightclub at MGM Grand. Reserved seating & VIP entry (no line wait). $60 for men & $40 for women with your Retreat Registration.

11:10am to 12:10pm - Edward E. Hueske "Shooting Incident Reconstruction" (1 hr MCLE)
12:10pm to 12:20pm - Dave Rendahl - Closing remarks, announcements, future Retreat information, & hotel check-out if you are leaving on Sunday.
Sun Afternoon - 2pm to 5pm? - 2008 World Defender Poker Championship. Entry fee $50 per person, pay in advance with your Retreat Registration.
Sun Evening ~ 8pm to 10pm? - Informal Post-Retreat Get Together at Red Square in Mandalay Bay.
